The Time selection field supports a wide range of idiomatic
phrases to make entering your time a snap! Below are just a handful of examples of valid time entries:
- "10pm"
- "22:00"
- "Tomorrow at 4:30"
- "Next Thursday at 1pm"
- "4 o'clock next Thursday"
- "Sunday 13:00"
- "January 5th at 7am"
- "5/1/11 7am"
Chances are, the way you tend to write dates will already work, and if you use
TellThemWhen
often (which we're betting you will) you'll find a format that works comfortably for you.
TellThemWhen will take what you type
and automatically try to guess what it is and show you the result as you are filling
in the title and text of your notification. If our system gets it wrong, you can always
enter the date format as YYYY/MMM/DD HH:MM, for example: "2010-Jan-20 14:30". All
time format fields also support XML Schema, RFC2822 and HTTP Date formats.
The Zone field represents what time zone you want the time you entered
interpreted as.
